Infiltrator Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 Well, I finally managed to pluck up the courage to do the Warthog disassemble and regrease. Knowing the rubber oring was an issue I bought a telfon ring and settled for Tamiya's Cera HG Grease. I followed ronin51670's YouTube video to the letter and it all went relatively smoothly - albeit time consuming sanding the parts. There is a night and day difference now with the stick and stiction issue addressed. Although the gimbal and parts are well greased I can still hear the parts moving - probably more so now I've swapped out the rubber oring for the teflon ring. Also I can sometimes hear a slight clicking noise from the gimbal when I sometimes move the stick. It seems infrequent so I'm wondering if it's just movement of the teflon ring. Has anyone else had much experience with the teflon ring?
