P.Carrasco =Keep Flying= Posted March 16, 2019 Posted March 16, 2019 Hello, I wanted to share what happened yesterday after a short training flight. First I did a "Cold and Dark" procedure assisted by "RIO" everything happened okay, I did the taxi, the takeoff and a short flight for get familiar of the aircraft and an "RTB", after the landing and to go to the parking area, I did the procedure to turn off the aircraft. I went to take a coffee and eat some donuts and went back to the plane, during the drive after the "right Crank" the engine reached its 20% (I think it's 20% now I do not remember is the right value that the engine has to be before I started the engine). When I started the engine to "Idlle" to inject fuel, the engine did not start, I then proceeded to the left engine that started normally, I made several attempts to start the right engine without success. I do not know if it is a bug or if I am doing something wrong, strange that later I did everything again the same flight, more coffee with donuts and this time the engine started normally, but I had already closed the simulator and started another assignment. It seems that mistake that in the A-10c that after you have breakdowns and repaired sometimes one of the engines never turns on. GhostLeadOne Posted March 16, 2019 Posted March 16, 2019 Oh! I had the same issue with the left engine the other day. She'd get up into idle and I'd think she'd be good but then I'd watch as the engine just died. Maybe less than 5 seconds after she was settled into idle, she was dead... Couldn't figure out why... Getting into a new aircraft fixed it...
