jhd5689 Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 I’m new to VR, and I have Vive. The problem I am having is when trying to push any buttons in A10-C cockpit my controllers quit responding. Sometimes my keyboard still works so I can hit escape and resume and they work again until I try to click again. Then sometimes my keyboard won’t work and unless I want to open task manager I have to wait until plane crashed into the ground. I can’t find anyone else talking about this problem. Any info would be appreciated.
jhd5689 Posted April 8, 2019 Author Posted April 8, 2019 Ok so I figured out my problem, just in case anyone else ever has this problem and doesn’t already know how to fix it. Press ALT + Enter to make VR projection in monitor full screen. I guess I was mouse clicking outside the window and loosing control of DCS. Maybe this is already know by most but had me stumped.

Thanks for sharing. I came here searching for exactly that problem. In my opinion this behaviour has been introduced very recently, maybe in the last update. I have been starting the P51 the same way in VR for about 2 years, and since taking the update, clicking on the left panel or the fuel pump switches (i.e. anything near the left edge of the physical screen) causes all controls to stop responding. Not even key presses work until I Alt-Tab out and back in.
Quadg Posted April 13, 2019 Posted April 13, 2019 move the windows taskbar to the side. usually you hit one of the taskbar shortcuts and that switches windows focus. and its windows focus that stops everything from working.. you can still hit the taskbar with the mouse confined to the app. watch the mouse when you move it to the edge of the app on your screen. it moves outside by a few MM and pops back. and you can still click outside. with the task bar to the side it is to far from the sides of the app to hit like this. or use alt-enter and go full screen. but as I sometimes record I tend to fly not full screen. so I confine the mouse and moved the taskbar.
