zoom issues with saitek x52 and LO1.1

Hello,

I have noticed a problem with the zoom when using the saitek x52 controller.

 

As soon as an axis, rotator, or the slider is pressed, the zoom level come back in "normal zoom".

 

 

Many other users experimented this issues, as I could guess thanks to theirs post on the french forum : http://www.checksix-forums.com/.

 

There are my observations of the problem :

 

LO 1.00 (french version) :

no problem, but the slider doesn't work when assigned to the view zoom (in the cockpit) whereas it works when assigned to the throttle.

 

LO1.02 (french version) :

no problem

 

LO1.0x + FC(1.1x) (downloaded version) :

there is the problem highlighted above.

 

Solution I found :

Before installing FC on LO1.02, make a copy of "input" directory of LO.

Then install FC (and patch 1.12b if desired)

Finally, past the copied lo1.02 input directory into the lo1.1 directory.

 

I hope that the future patchs will correct this issue ;)
