Blacknemisis Posted June 1, 2019 Posted June 1, 2019 Is it possible to have DCS in two separate for in two separate drives. I'm running out of space and on my C drive and have space on my D drive. I was wondering if I could download terrains on my D drive and leave the rest on the C drive.
Tippis Posted June 1, 2019 Posted June 1, 2019 Sort of, but it requires some familiarity with the windows file system and the various shells and console options. You should probably not do it before you've experimented with dummy files and directories because it is quite easy to accidentally set up linking chains that let you kill off files in rather surprising ways. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/desktop/fileio/file-and-directory-linking https://www.howtogeek.com/howto/16226/complete-guide-to-symbolic-links-symlinks-on-windows-or-linux/ ❧ ❧ Inside you are two wolves. One cannot land; the other shoots friendlies. You are a Goon. ❧ ❧
