bindings broken with update

With the new update today my axis bindings on the warthog are broken. I tried deleting the config/input directory and starting over but no change. The controls page shows it correct (thrust L/R, rudder, pitch all showing correct with the little movement bars as I move the controller) but when in the plane, the left throttle controls the rudders, the throttle slider controls both engines and rudder toe brakes cause the pitch controller (joystick) to change. Crazy. No idea what to do about this one.

That's common if the USB devices are plugged into different host ports, they are detected as new devices. Swapping them back or changing config might not help but this only affects axis. Just rebind the axis, or delete the spurious extra devices far to the right of the display.

 

 

If you are saying that once you did that the axis still control multiple controls then that is something completely different, you should put a screen shot of the controls so it appears clearly what the problem is, along with a track file demonstrating the double controls.

Don't remember the Hornet setup options off the top of my head, but based on similar experiences with other modules, check that you're actually using the sim model you're trying to bind (“real” or “simple/game”). I've come across instances where this setting was reset in update processes and you end up struggling to make the “real” binds work when it turns out the plane is actually using the “game” binds.

I managed to get flying by deleting the entire saved games directory, not just config/input. My rudder still has issues, its like the toe wheel brakes stick, its on or off only no curve. Even when I delete wheel brakes from the controls (and check both "axis" and "all" have no wheel brake control assigned) I am not rolling at 80% thrust with no brakes applied. Like the ground is sticky now. Anyone else seeing that?
