DCS won't run in true full screen mode

Ok, so the problem is that I can't get DCS to run in true full screen mode anymore. This wasn't an issue for a long time, but now after entering the cockpit the game runs in borderless windowed mode no matter what. Pressing Alt + Enter won't fix this anymore like it previously used to.

 

I'm running the latest DCS openbeta, Nvidia driver ver. 431.60 and Windows 10 Pro (1903).
