Special Options A/B Select

Can anyone expalin what the AfterBurner Selection Always Off/Always On is about in the Special Tab?

 

Always Off is not much use unless there is a way to switch it on when in the pit. I'm thinking of the Finger Lifts in the Hornet, but there is nothing like that in the Viper (that I know of)

There is binding in the controls menu that let's you assign a button to toggle the AB detent on and off. I forget the exact name of it, but it's great for those of us without a actual physical detent on our throttle.

Must have missed it, although there are a few where the labels aren't that clear to me exactly what they do
