Steam to standalone possible?

Hi, and sorry for the duplicate post (thought I was doing it under F-14 forum).

 

Im about to purchase the steam F-14. But I would like to be sure before doing it that I can later transfer it to a DCS stand alone installation.

 

 

So, is it possible to purchase the Steam version of the F-14 Tomcat and use it in the standalone DCS version?

Please don't buy on steam if there is a good alternative. Steam takes a huge cut. If you can and want to support the devs buy from their page
