Ability to map Rotaries as bands or something

I wanna use my x56 rotaries for stuff without having to use the saitek software. Wouldn't it be possible to map the bands somehow for things like knob positions or radar azimuth?

Normally, at Mode 1, you can already assign/use all rotaries on your throttle for knobs in game but if developers have implemented those features for the module (aircraft).

 

Mode 2 and 3 is another story.

What I meant was it would be cool if the dcs software would allow assigning different keystrokes for different positions of the rotaries. So say from 0 to 25% button 1, 25 to 50 button 2 etc
