Hi Everyone,

 

Hoping someone has some experience programming specific AI maneuvering sequences.

 

From an initial position ahead and offset to the side, desired outcome is a max performance break turn towards the player through about 90 degrees.

 

Despite turn type, settings, etc, I cannot get the AI to pull more than 3.5-4 or so G in the turn according to tacview.

 

AI is a hornet, 350KIAS @ 15000' should be plenty more turn performance available in that state

 

I have tried all turn types, all G settings, as well as setting a low allowable min speed in the forced turn (maybe its trying to maintain energy?) I just can't get the AI to pull harder.

 

Q1: Any ideas on how to get that turn to be more aggressive?

 

Q2: Is there an outline of what exactly the aerobatic maneuvers (specifically the turn types) are, and what their parameters actually mean? I have searched around but beyond the demo mission available on the forum, haven't found anything in writing.
