RS485 Nano question (old bootloader & new bootloader)

Hi guys,

 

I'm building a DCS Bios/RS485 hornet cockpit more or less using the concept in

.

 

I bought a bunch of nanos from Ebay and all works well. These nanos use the old bootloader. I then needed & bought more nanos which use the new bootloader. Whenever I mix the new nanos with the old bootloader ones, I get panels that just won't work.

 

Is there a way I can get the new ones to play nice with the old ones?
