Avimimus Posted October 23, 2007 Posted October 23, 2007 i thought the Hinds were used like an APC/AFV/IFV transport and protect the troops They were indeed intended to work in close co-ordination with ground troops (hence the bombs and demolition weapons being carried). But if air defenses were suppressed they were expected to be sent ahead to disrupt enemy formations and supplies.
