- those caught in the partisan conflict

 

- those who died in rushed production

 

- those killed in accidents behind the lines

 

- victims of western and eastern betrayal

 

- those killed in proxy wars

 

- political opponents, aid workers, those killed in chosen non-military roles

 

- Finally, enemies who need to be remembered, if never condoned

 

Four different times:

 

- Wounded knee and My Lai or another reminder that it is not only the enemy but the dehumanisation involved warfare that must also be fought.

 

- The 11th minute of the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month when the "war to end all wars" stopped.

 

- 1962, misunderstanding of the "Soviet Menace" and the several points where everything came down to a single person's decision

 

- Wars world wide, our soldiers today who will die, our enemies and those caught in between
