VMFA-Blaze Posted November 12, 2007 Posted November 12, 2007 There seem to be number of threads popping up all over the internet concerning the New Editor. Unfortunately there really isn't much overall detail available. I know that you guys at Eagle are very busy getting the DCS series ready for prime time. But I did see the new Cold Start Video that you recently added and the Systems Modeling Manual . These are top notch and are extremely helpful in becoming familiar with the Ka-50. I personally don't like multi player, I prefer to fly off line. From what I have deduced by reading the articles that are presently available concerning the New Mission Editor, it will allow you to create missions that are dynamic (scripting capabilities). In other words when flying missions in a campaign each mission will be affected by the previous mission flown. And the outcome of the Campaign will be affected by all of the combined missions. Also damage that incurred in a mission will carry over to the next mission. Is this correct? And since we have new tutorials could Eagle consider releasing a tutorial video or instruction manual to let us become familiar with this very important tool as well. ~S~ Blaze intel Cor i7-6700K ASUS ROG MAX VIII Extreme G.Skill TridentZ Series 32 GB Samsung 850 Pro 1TB SATA II ASUS GTX 1080/DIRECTX 12 Windows 10 PRO Thrustmaster Warthog Oculus Rift VR

It'll be much, much more powerful and flexible than the Lomac mission editor, and scripting capability will be present . . . but further specifics probably won't be revealed for a little while yet. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v121/britgliderpilot/BS2Britgliderpilot-1.jpg

I thought as much..This must be just one of the issues that's holding up the DCS launch. But I still think that once all of the problems are sorted out that Eagle should release some sort of separate tutorial. This should help to simplify all of the new data that well need to absorb. The learning curve should become relatively simpler after the initial release. ~S~ Blaze intel Cor i7-6700K ASUS ROG MAX VIII Extreme G.Skill TridentZ Series 32 GB Samsung 850 Pro 1TB SATA II ASUS GTX 1080/DIRECTX 12 Windows 10 PRO Thrustmaster Warthog Oculus Rift VR
