AIM-9 BORE/SLAV can be permanently switched using HOTAS

Switching is normally only done via Cursor Switch depress but only momentarily.

 

If you:

- Switch to DGFT override mode via HOTAS, it will select AIM-9s

- You press and hold Cursor Switch depress to change mode momentarily

- While still holding Cursor Switch depress you cancel the DGFT override mode

 

Now the change in BORE/SLAVE will be permanent.

You can reverse it by following the same steps.

 

 

I am sure that this is not intended.
