JTF-6 Is Now Recruiting

[VCVW6-CAG]

We don't do this often but, we're ready to grow a little bit. JTF-6, formerly VCVW-6, is now recruiting for Hornet, and Tomcat pilots. We're specifically looking for 4 Hornet Pilots and 2 or 3 Tomcat Pilots during this recruitment drive. However, Viper Pilots, Harrier Pilots, and Dedicated RIOs are welcome to apply as well.

 

About us..

 

Established in October of 2018, We are a group of around thirty military flight sim enthusiasts who, through the DCS Flight Sim, simulate to the best extent possible, real world military flight operations utilizing US Navy/Marine, and USAF airframes. While we seek to emulate military flight operations, we also understand that it is impossible to incorporate all components of military aviation into our operations, and group.

 

However, we will always try our best to simulate real world military aviation operations while still pursuing our constant, and primary goal which is to have fun. At no time, will the pursuit of perfect simulation be allowed to interfere with our primary goal of having fun.

Requirements

 

18 years of age or, older

 

Some DCS experience. I.e., you should have basic familiarity and experience with your chosen airframe and it's weapons systems. A checkride with one of our members will evaluate this. With that being said, it's not necessary for you to be a rockstar DCS Pilot. We'll work with you to fine tune some things you may need to work on but, we're just not set up right now to train somebody from the ground up.

 

Own at least one of the following aircraft modules:

 

Hornet

Tomcat

Harrier

Viper

 

Own the following DCS modules

 

PG Map

NTTR Map

WWII Assets

 

*If you are flying a Naval/USMC airframe you will be required to purchase the Nimitz Supercarrier Module when the group makes the decision to move to it as well as the Syria Map when it is released.
