Tippis Posted March 10, 2020 Posted March 10, 2020 I was playing around with my new setup in the Persian Gulf free flight mission and decided to land on the Bursj Al Arab just to see if I still had that level of control. The landing worked fine but I noticed a slight oddity… The low altitude light texture wasn't just an illumination of the low alt warning bulb, but the texture itself seemed to be backlit by the setting sun and the transparent areas of the texture took on that sunset hue. Of course, these transparent areas shouldn't be receiving any illumination at all, much less from a sun that is on the other side of an instrument console. ❧ ❧ Inside you are two wolves. One cannot land; the other shoots friendlies. You are a Goon. ❧ ❧
msalama Posted March 11, 2020 Posted March 11, 2020 This glitch / bug has been there at least for as long as the v2.5x branch has been in existence. The DCS Mi-8MTV2. The best aviational BBW experience you could ever dream of.
Tippis Posted March 11, 2020 Author Posted March 11, 2020 Interesting. I didn't see it reported anywhere going back as far as the 1.5 versions, so I guess it's about time someone did it. ❧ ❧ Inside you are two wolves. One cannot land; the other shoots friendlies. You are a Goon. ❧ ❧
