DCS not launching from desktop computer

Hi Everybody,

 

I have installed DCS ver 2.5.5 yesterday and have also installed the A-10c Warthog together with the DCS Blackshark.

 

However, when I click on play, nothing happens. I might add I had installed the sim last year with no problems. My computer has not changed in configuration since then....It's got me beat.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

 

I'm running an Intel i7 6700K, 16 Gig Ram and an Nvidia GTX 1070 graphics card.
