HoneyViper Posted April 9, 2020 Posted April 9, 2020 Not sure if this post goes here or into the F-5E forum, but a quick one about the AWACS Hunt mission that comes with the F-5E. What are you supposed to do if one of the other planes in your flight beats you to the front of the queue at the runway? This happened to me the other day when I was granted permission to taxi, but I was a bit slow leaving my hanger so by the time I got to the runway one of the planes in my flight was in front. Nothing happened for a few minutes so I received approval to take off and had to manoeuvre around him - I'm sure that's a big no no but there was nothing else I could do. Not my video, but you can see in Dodge 12 and the others start rolling as soon as Dodge 11 gets permission to take off. If the pilot in Dodge 11 hadn't started rolling right away then Dodge 12 would have whizzed past. Are you supposed to coordinate taxiing with your wingmen so you get to the runway in the right order?
