TonyG Posted May 21, 2020 Posted May 21, 2020 I set up a mission with 1500' ceiling, 10/10 opacity in rain with a 4000' thickness. After launch, when i called in to ATC, I received CASE I procedures. Is CASE II still a WIP, or should it be detecting solid OVC conditions requiring an IFR descent? Per NATOPs This approach shall be utilized when weather conditions are such that the flight may encounter instrument conditions during the descent, but visual conditions of at least 1,000 feet ceiling and 5 miles visibility exist at the ship. 9800X3D, MSI 5080 , G.SKILL 64GB DDR5-6000, Win 11, MSI X870, 2/4TB nVME, Quest 3, OpenHornet Pit
