AnthonyD5189 Posted May 25, 2020 Posted May 25, 2020 So it's very possible I could be doing something wrong, but when I go to activate ACLS with the nosewheel steering button the plane pitches WAY down even though I'm right on glideslope. Any ideas? I've tried on the SC and Stennis. Also I need to be at like 300ft 4 miles out to be on glide path, which just can't be right.
stuart666 Posted May 25, 2020 Posted May 25, 2020 ACLS is broken with Supercarrier at the moment, im pretty sure the Devs have said so. I think the ILS is broken as well for that matter, at least as far as Glideslope. Master Cat 1's, they are fun. :D

I've got Cat I down pretty decent, and I can hand fly a Cat III no problem. Was just trying out the ACLS today and noticed I needed to be 100ft at 9 miles out to be on glideslope, ha.
AG-51_Sabot Posted May 26, 2020 Posted May 26, 2020 I thought the ALCS was supposed to be fixed with the “Hot Patch.” I didn’t see anything in the notes "There is an art … to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss." Douglas Adams, The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy https://www.cag-51.org/contact
