jeffham222 Posted June 3, 2020 Posted June 3, 2020 When trying to go from wide to narrow views and carrying 65Es, the raid/FLIR switch does not respond. Tried switching TGP to other DDI, nothing. I had to shut down and restart the TGP for it to work properly. Also, I was designating TOO targets for JDAMs yesterday, and it wasn't working for anything. Came back today and it was working fine. Probably my screw up, just wondering if anyone else had this issue. RaisedByWolves Posted June 3, 2020 Posted June 3, 2020 I believe I read it here in the bug section. This is normal. Its supposed to be that way.
Tholozor Posted June 3, 2020 Posted June 3, 2020 Correct behavior, the RAID/FOV button gives priority to weapon sensors over the targeting pod, regardless of the assignment of TDC priority. Harker Posted June 3, 2020 Posted June 3, 2020 1. The RAID/FLIR FOV button's functionality depends on whether you have certain weapons selected or not. For Mavericks and HARMs (don't know about SLAM/SLAM-ER yet), it will always perform the weapon-related function (FOV cycle or target step), regardless of the TDC assignment. This is by design. As for the AGM-65E, it does not do anything. I'm unsure if that function it's programmed to just treat both Mavericks the same IRL or if it's something that will change later. 2. The TPOD + TOO mode combo got messed up a couple of updates ago, it should hopefully be fixed tomorrow. The vCVW-17 is looking for Hornet and Tomcat pilots and RIOs. Join the vCVW-17 Discord. Thanks. I guess we'll use button #6 on the DDI, then. Wait, how do YOU know this? Are you just going on hearsay? Lol...
