Recorded Track "mismatch" with actual 3D gameplay (video)

In the video below I recorded flying a mission in 3D and viewing its recorded Track, back-to-back.

 

Now, if we compare the landing sequences, it becomes clear that there is somehow a mismatch in the position data between 3D (@51:50 mm:ss) and the recorded Track (@1:02:40 h:mm:ss).

 

 

What went wrong in the Track?
