sbmasonator
Hey folks. I've recently bought some CubeSim screens for MFD extraction, and I'm trying to get my monitor setup to work. I've got 4 monitors: - Monitor one is my main monitor, 3840x2160 - Monitor two is my secondary, but I don't use it in-game. Also 3840x2160 - monitors three and four are the 800x600 monitors I use for the MFDs. I can get this to work: https://ibb.co/W5k0qYs ...but I'd like to get this to work: https://ibb.co/rk27LwK Any ideas on how I can get this to work? bmodrow
https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2616874&postcount=799 Refer to the above link. I would recommend you move 3 and 4 under monitor 2 in the left corner. Total pixels will be slightly less. sbmasonator
Thanks bmodrow. Not sure that works for me -- I don't want to use "monitor 2" of my monitors in-game... This is harder than it needs to be...
bmodrow
Windows does not know where your monitors are physically located. Setup your displays in Windows to be as such: Monitor1. Monitor2 M3 M4 Monitor 1 will need to be set as primary display. Also make sure extend displays is checked. Physically on your desk: Monitor2. Monitor1 and M3 & M4 where ever you want. You will use Monitor1 .....................M3 M4 Pixel dimensions/locations to set your viewports and in game. sbmasonator
Thanks pal. I guess the issue is that my monitors are actually: |Monitor 2|Monitor1| |M3|M4| ...my brain hurts if I have to move my mouse cursor to the right side of my monitor to "move into" the leftmost monitor. I appreciate the help though... Edited July 8, 2020 by sbmasonator
bmodrow
With what I described to you, yes you would have to move the cursor to the right to get into the left screen or when not playing DCS just swap the Windows settings. Hope that makes sense. What I described to you as a set up in windows also gives you the lowest pixel density which will be way less taxing on your system. Again in Windows: [Monitor 1 Primary ] [Monitor 2 ] ...........................[M3][M4] Physically on desk: [Monitor 2 ] [Monitor 1 ] and M3 & M4 where ever you want. Sorry last post was a bit of a pain to understand was on a mobile device.
