Controllable: AV8B, F15C Quick Summary: The Tarawa has been deployed to the Persian Gulf, and the spooks have found plans to attack shipping in the area by an Iranian Revolutionary Guard Rocketry unit. Unfortunately, the missiles they're planning on using are protected against an approach from the sea by SA3s & SA6s. Fortunately, we have a cunning plan, involving low level flying at dawn and a quick strike to neutralise air defences then the missiles themselves, then a quick dash back across the sea evading any CAP that tries to stop you, and hopefully landing on the Tarawa before you run out of fuel. What could possibly go wrong? This is the first in what might become a series of missions operating harriers around the Gulf. The name will make more sense once you get into the briefing.
