I really like it: it's love and hate at the same time eh eh I'm learning to fly it and I'm still at the beginning, but I have already some doubts and I hope you can help me to resolve... Fox example: FUEL TANK: ok, I lost my missile if I exceed 7G. Ok, I can understand it, but I lost fuel tanks if I just roll the plane...is it normal? I did some test to understand how and when I can lost my fuel tanks, but I have not found any repeatable situation: sometimes I lost them, sometimes I dont. :helpsmilie: :pilotfly:
Dragon1-1 Posted November 4, 2020 Posted November 4, 2020 Be gentle with it when you have any sort of load under the wings. That goes especially for the fuel tanks, which are rather heavy when full. It's very easy to reach mach 0.9 when simply flying in straight line, and at that point, you're in transsonic region, and the forces on your stores will be considerable. Don't fly too fast, don't roll too fast, and it'll be fine. Oh, and when entering combat, punching off the tanks should be the first thing you do.
