DCS World 2.5.6 Questions from a newbie

Hello all,

I´m pretty new to DCS & I really like it.

I´m a modder for the Strike Fighters 2 series, so I would also like to mod for DCS.

I wanted to start with the A-10A wich I purchased.

But I´m not familar with the file structure of DCS. I can add skins, change em etc.

But, where are the stock textures for the A-10A modul located? I looked under bazar folder (installation path) and under saved games, but no luck.

My second Question is, how can I add numbers to a skin (without painting on texture)?

Are there any Tools I Need specially for DCS? Like f.e. a model Viewer or so?
