JTFF-Marco Posted December 1, 2020 Posted December 1, 2020 (edited) Hello everyone ! First post here ! With my squadron Joint Task Force France, we held our "Poker" exercice last week. Poker is a training mission that the French Air Force does every couple of months to train the nuclear employment mission. A bunch of blue airplanes will rejoin with some Tankers, and then a low altitude penetration is performed in order to fire the weapon at some simulated targets. Some squadrons will be providing Air superiority/Escort to the strikers, some will play RedFor. Of course most of the details are not public and we had to make ajustments to make it work in DCS but we tried to simulate that mission. The ASMP nuclear capable missile was simulated by the AGM84 SLAM on the F/A-18C, and we had them fox 2 only to simulate the mighty now retired Mirage 2000N ! Oh and by the way, the mission is flown at night. Anyway, we ended up having a ton of fun, and I made a recap vidéo. I included external shots and some of my cockpit footage. It's hard to have good light at night, but i am pretty happy about the results. It's my first "mission moovie" if I can call it that so feedback is welcome. I especially like the Super Carrier footage. Details of the mission : Blue Team comming out of twp Supercarriers in the northern Black See : - 6 F-14B with dedicated Rios - 11 F/A-18C including the 4 "nuclear" strikers - 5 A-10C who went low and early to try to destroy EWR stations on the borders. - 2 LOTATC controlers Red team scrambling from Kutaisi and Vaziani : (Protecting Tiblissi) - 4 Mirage 2000C - 7 F-16C - 1 LOTATC controler Enough from me, here is the video : hope you like it Edited December 1, 2020 by LaBise Link change
