Quick question about auto and manual guns

Hey all, I currently have the ability to manually range the piper on my twist stick and it works fine, but I'm wondering how to switch back to automatic mode? It seems that once I make a turn on the twist stick and I can manually adjust the piper size myself, it doesn't go back to auto adjusting.

You have to twist the stick to the full counterclockwise position (max range). This will re-engage automatic radar ranging.
