Scripting LUA Files instead of Target

Hi,

 

I am looking at the possibility of changing the LUA file instead of scripting in TARGET. I know a bit about changing the script in TARGET to change the HOTAS to my needs but is it also possible to change the LUA files other than with the control setup option within DCS? Is there a guideline around?

I am looking for example to turn on two switches for batteries with one switch on the throttle.

I don't think you can quite do what you're after.  You can add 2 way/3 way switches, but I don't think it will let you combine what DCS sees as 2 switches into one (I'm assuming you want it to turn both on with one flip?).  Scripting in TARGET or some other software is likely going to be required.
