LOMAC freezes on exiting

Hi eveyone,

 

I bought a Saitek X52 a few weeks ago. I started making my profile and eveything was working fine but I also started having a problem a few days after. Here is what is hapenning.

 

I load the profile, then load LOMAC:FC 1.12b.

 

I can fly my jet just fine, but sometimes my keybinds stop respondind. I press on the joystick buttons and nothing happens. Then when I quit LOMAC the computer freezes where LOMAC ask "Are you sure you want to exit" right after I click OK.

 

When this happens, I never get back to windows, it just stays on LOMAC main menu and it will not shutdown. When I look at the task manager, I see CPU usage 0% and Memory 43%.

 

The only way to shut down the computer afterwards is to hold the power button for 3 seconds. Even if I click on End Task or End process, LOMAC will never shutdown and the music keeps playing on the Exit screen.

 

An idea ?

 

P.S. I can upload my x52 profile as an attachment if someone knows a way to attach it in the forums or to host it somehwere else.

 

My specs are in my sig if it can be useful.

greetings bob . what drivers are you useing for that x52?

heres a saitek forum . go here , join up , and get the lastest drivers for your stick .

this place helped me out a fair bit .

my stick is running great now .

I downloaded the drivers for the X52 straight from the Website whey I received my joystick.

Same problem, happends some time.

Only way to close LO, is to kill task in task manager... :noexpression:

they put out a new beta driver a while back .

plus , they are still working on a new driver which is suppossed to be released sometime soon .

heres the driver i use .

check yours , see if they are the same .

If this is Vista- supposedly disabling the UAC's & the "Aero" theme will fix this.
