shd1hornet Posted January 18, 2021 Posted January 18, 2021 Hi! I built a small QRA mission where a hostile group (1 tanker + 2 escort fighter) shall ingress a trigger zone ("Detection zone"). The hostile group has a flight plan with WP 1 with a south heading. When starting the mission the group turns immediately right and exits the commanded flight plan. Why do they ignore the flight plan? Bug or wrong programming? (DCS 2.5.6 OB) Kind regards Robert
GR00VYJERRY Posted January 19, 2021 Posted January 19, 2021 Hi have the same issue on occasion. I actually recently made a post about it. something weird happens to the game file and it bugs out. The only way to fix it is to build an entire new mission. You can literally put the same triggers, scripts, units in the same place and time and it will work. I had an issue where it happened on the last units I was placing. They stopped following waypoints and started entering a right hand pattern at waypoint one. I deleted the units, redid the triggers, etc. and put them back and it still didn’t work. I spent a few hours and literally copied the mission over item for item, no changes, and it worked fine.
