u on RWR

So I didn't find any info about this in Chucks Hornet Guide so I ask here:

 

What is displayed as an "u" with a wave line under it on the RWR? It doesn't show up as SAM or AI? But I got shot down by it?

It occured on the Persian Gulf Map on a Throught the inferno Server in Multiplayer.

Whatever isn't listed in the RWR's database is 'U' for unknown.
