Tabasc0 Posted February 3, 2021 Posted February 3, 2021 Hello pilots! Is it possible to move the mouse cursor (called BDA cursor in DCS) with the X56 HOTAS? I would like to bind the "mini-stick" of my X56, but i dont know how. And i would like to be able to "click" also with the HOTAS. So we can stay on the hotas, and the keyboard is nearly useless. Thanks in advance!
Johnny Dioxin Posted February 3, 2021 Posted February 3, 2021 You can click with the HOTAS by assigning LMB and RMB in the "UI Layer" section of the controls menu. (I use a 4-way or HAT switch for using the mouse in VR) Not sure about the axes - have a look in the "Axes" part of the UI Layer section is my best guess for that. Tabasc0 Posted February 3, 2021 Author Posted February 3, 2021 Thanks for your answer, but i dont have any VR device, so i dont have UI LAYER section...
Johnny Dioxin Posted February 10, 2021 Posted February 10, 2021 Ah - I didn't know it was only available for VR - so there may be a case for asking ED to make that control section available, at least in part, to non-VR users. Tabasc0 Posted February 12, 2021 Author Posted February 12, 2021 Thanks for your answer Johnny, but i have found. I write the tip here for users : in the X56 software, you have to assign "bands" to the ministick, so it can move left to fight, up and down, like a mouse.
