Recently, USAF have started trials of a new two-tone grey scheme for the F-117 stealth, in the event that the jet is adopted to daytime bombing missions as well. I've started trying to replicate the paint scheme, but pictures are few and far between and this is what I've come up with so far (on the basis that the F-117 is dressed in Raptor's clothing):

Here's the problem: I've literally spent hours simply mapping out the F-117 skin so I can paint it, because the default skin is black. Just black. This is accurate to the real thing, no doubt about it, but makes for horrible re-skinning. Half the time, I've painted the F-117A in bright pink or neon green just to know what I'm skinning, then I have to repeat the process many times to figure out the orientation, size, etc. ;)

So I've just one tiny request, not only to the devs, but anyone else who can help. Where exactly are the vertical fins on the F-117-ORKAS.bmp skin? A simple outline of the fins would help greatly. I tried doing it myself, but it seems that the fins are cut into two pieces for skinning (again, because of the abnormal rudder design of the Nighthawk).

I'm sorry, but all this moving stuff pixel by pixel, then booting up LOMAC, is starting to get too much. I mean, this was supposed to be fun, but now, it's just exhausting and repetitive. It's hard to enjoy yourself when 90% of the time you're just skinning a black mass ;)

And I don't want to waste the skin, so...ueah :D
