Hosted game - clients connecting but game not starting

Guys, I am new to DCS and am trying to host a couple buddies...not a dedicated server.  Connecting by IP.

 

Ports are open.  Clients get into lobby, see briefing and can click fly.  When we get into the game I am in cockpit and they are outside of the planes.  Cannot find a way to make the game start.

 

Mission was created by me for A-10A's to practice bombing.  In mission my plane = player,  planes 2 & 3 = client.

 

I am sure this is my error, but just can't figure it out.  I would appreciate any ideas to solve this.

Is the game just paused per chance? There's a tick in server settings to unpause automatically.

LG-Skyman, entirely possible, I will look for the tick in server set-up.  Would that cause the clients to start out floating above the planes as well?

 

I will try to test it out tonight.
