Fri13 Posted February 24, 2021 Posted February 24, 2021 Just as the ED added official support to the Touch Controllers to be used as a virtual hands inside a cockpit, the next step would be to utilize the hand tracking in Quest and Quest 2. https://developer.oculus.com/ On the day Facebook account requirement is dropped on Quest 2 (unlikely without the lawsuit) and DCS supports those hand tracking, the game is over for all gloves and alike. Just manipulate things in cockpit without anything in your hand and.... Immersion is amazing. When the SteamVR or OpenVR would support the hand tracking, until then it is just the Oculus that is offering such in their SDK. 1 i7-8700k, 32GB 2666Mhz DDR4, 2x 2080S SLI 8GB, Oculus Rift S. i7-8700k, 16GB 2666Mhz DDR4, 1080Ti 11GB, 27" 4K, 65" HDR 4K.
