EXIF data and the new image uploading system

Hi there, quick question, does the new forum image/file upload system remove exif data on upload or do we need to remove it before uploading?

Dang I wrote the whole post before the forum restore feature overwrote it when I hit reply ...

 

I was saying, if it's an attachement probably the image isn't re-encoded, you should expect EXIF to be still present.

Hosting sites usually re-encode images, and I think with IMGUR I did test and it does not contain EXIF, though it would be possible to re-insert it (carry it over) or if they have a "original quality" feature, but didn't test that.

 

Now things could have changes, this was years ago as far as IMGUR goes.
