About

Arma Air Corps is a semi-realism milsim organisation founded in 2014. In the past we had a focus on the Arma series however in the present day we had our focus shifted towards Digital Combat Simulator (DCS). Currently we operate our flying operations within DCS and our soldier focus is set within Arma. As we have an Army focus, we still ensure you are a soldier first.

We have two methods of entry for flying, Junior soldier and Officer entry. Applying as a Junior soldier you will start your flight training as an NCO and will be able to progress your way up the ranks. Entry as an Officer will require you to have a certain skill set to contribute to the organisation.

We have dedicated servers, Training, Operations and Free Flight. We own a dedicated box and host other game servers also.

Aim

To imitate the Army Air Corps within the confinements of DCS with what is available to us. We want a professional community driven by members who support our aim and to help drive us towards an aspiring community.

Current Openings

We are now recuiting both officer and junior entries seeking potential members who want to help build a community with a focus of being involved with their input and knowledge. Please note we officially do not call or recognise rank, rank only appoints a duty to which members are expected to uphold. We treat all as equals and support each other in our learning.

Requirements

Please visit http://armaaircorps.com/requirements to read through what we expect all persons wishing to join to have.

Process

We have a four-step joining process:

  1. Visit our website, read the requirements and make sure you meet them.
  2. Click apply and it will take you to our recruitment forum. Register with legit credentials.
  3. Once registered you will fill an application out. Be sure to read the information above the form as this is important. Once you have read, completed and submitted your application, it will be reviewed, and a decision will be made. Allow 2-3 days for this.
  4. If prior step has been successful an initial interview will take place, it is more a get to know you chat and for both us and you to be sure this is the right place for you. During this we will explain to you how things are done, why they are done and what we expect from you.

Things to consider

We are a British community, and we have a rotary only focus. We will not accept applications just because the DCS Apache is due for release. We do not have any fixed wing in our missions, nor do we fly them although you would be able to on our free flight server. We have a process and that is be adhered to.

Good to see Arma people coming in!  That game is DEAD ( really was with 3, which was a downgrade from 2 and just a money grab ).  Doesn't look like there ever will be a IV.

Hope to see DCS become the next level of an "ARMA" type sim.  Probably will be years and a LOT of work, but hopefully one day.  I tell any Arma players I can find about DCS: World.

Welcome to DCS!

Welcome to DCS!

Hi,

Just to clear some things up, we do not want people getting confused that we have any association with Arma as we do not nor are we an Arma unit coming into DCS. We have been on DCS for a few years. I can understand it may appear misleading.

The word Army has been replaced with Arma, that is the only association it really has.

Appreciate you stopping by.
