Invisible Aircraft Carriers

I'm not sure if this is because I'm still fairly green with DCS or if this is a genuine 2.7 open beta bug in the Mission Editor:  CVNs are invisible on the map.  Not in game, in the editor.  I cannot see the deck in order to place player aircraft, static objects, anything.  All I can see is a blue dot.  

 

Am I  missing a checkbox somewhere or has any else noticed this in 2.7?

The "show models" button at the bottom of the screen.  Always read the manuals.  Mea culpa.
