minimi66 Posted April 26, 2021 Posted April 26, 2021 Hi guys, has anyone who is using the CUBESIM USB LCD screens for MFD/DDI purposes had a problem where the on-screen output is reversed from 3 o clock to 9 oclock as seen in the attached image? I have 3 of them and its happened on one of them as of last night? The other 2 are fine. Tried all the usual un-plugging, re-starting PC etc etc. malarkey but no joy fixing it? Have messaged Cube Sim on FB but no answer yet. Probably the time difference from UK. Also went into the actual LCD screen setup options via the buttons on the right side of the back box but resetting or autoconfig from there didn't fix it unfortunately? Can't change anything via nVidia Control Panel as the screens are USB, nothing in Windows 10 Display Settings fixes it either? Any ideas or help most appreciated? Thanks. minimi66 Posted April 26, 2021 Author Posted April 26, 2021 (edited) SOLVED USB Data cable plug at screen end had slight damage to protective shroud around cable, wires slightly visible. I think it was in contact with the metal back plate of my Monstertech MFD plate. Or the internal wires were shorting maybe? Wrapped some electrical tape around, plugged in and problem solved. roxxdahouse Posted July 19, 2021 Posted July 19, 2021 Got the same problem since yesterday. tried another cable but did not help even the start screen (blue one with cubesim logo ist mirrored).
PinkyandBrain Posted July 21, 2021 Posted July 21, 2021 I currently have the same issue with one of my cubesim displays... the second one is all fine but one is inverted and does not let me change back to normal... checked for broken cables already but no luck... Anyone came up with a solution yet?
PinkyandBrain Posted July 22, 2021 Posted July 22, 2021 Gents, i got answer from Cubesim Garfield, he'll take a look into the issue.
spring Posted September 15, 2021 Posted September 15, 2021 For this problem, please contact cubesim and he will give you an adjustment scheme. If this method is not applicable to your screen, he will mail you another one. Contact him as soon as possible, or there will be no screen.
