Gustup Posted April 29, 2021 Posted April 29, 2021 Good afternoon. I came to the world of DCS a few weeks ago and I noticed strange coloured pixels all around the map, as shown below. It was on 2.5 and now it is the same on 2.7 Beta. I had a look at the settings, that are the default ones, but I did not notice anything that could affect the map quality. Do you have any idea how to solve the problem? Thank you, Alessandro
Gustup Posted April 29, 2021 Author Posted April 29, 2021 Sorry, I forgot to mention that I am using the Steam version.
Solution G.J.S Posted April 29, 2021 Solution Posted April 29, 2021 Looks like the rocky terrain textures have become corrupt. Have you tried a repair? https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/support/faq/repair/ - - - The only real mystery in life is just why kamikaze pilots wore helmets? - - -
Gustup Posted April 29, 2021 Author Posted April 29, 2021 Thank you G.J.S for your reply. I didn't know that there is a repair function. Since I use the Steam version, I don't have the Repair option in the Start menu. I am trying the "Verify Integrity of game files" in Steam, hope this will fix the issue.

I’m not on steam myself, so cannot confirm, however a quick google indeed shows that is correct. - - - The only real mystery in life is just why kamikaze pilots wore helmets? - - -
