Guest baloo32 Posted January 13, 2005 Posted January 13, 2005 Having watched the videos, and feeling all "warm" inside, I have one query. WTF spec machine was running Lock-On to get those kind of frame rates. I appreciate my FX5600 doesn't cut the mustard in the graphics stake, but can someone (anyone) give me a heads up on the spec the developer's are working with. I don't want a long list of alternatives from NVidia or ATI, just an indication of the hardware they are currently using. Cheers
GGTharos Posted January 13, 2005 Posted January 13, 2005 The Videos are made using the built-in AVI maker which renders frame-by-frame from a track and thus suffers no performance hit for making the video regardless of the graphics. This rendering takes longer than if you were playing the game, naturally.
