Flyby Posted October 11, 2008 Posted October 11, 2008 Hey all If I had the choice of going with either the new ATi 4870-1gb gpu or the new GTX260+12 gpu which would be better for Black Shark? I ask because I read an interesting article over at HardOCP about the new ATi card, with the 260+12 for comparison. In reading the conclusion of that article I found myself wondering if the Black Shark rendering engine was more a) shader intensive, or b) more memory capacity sensitive. The new Ati card is only $24.00usd more than the 4870-512mb version, and is competitively priced with the GTX260+12 gpu. Flyby out The U.S. Congress is the best governing body that BIG money can buy. :cry:
