Well here at Virtual Fleet Air Arm we do within DCS World. The Fleet Air Arm (FAA) operates all the Royal Navy's aircraft. A vital element for many of the wide and varied roles undertaken by the Royal Navy, FAA roles range from humanitarian operations, through to securing the seas, fighting terrorism and landing troops onto hostile shores. The Virtual Fleet Air Arm is a virtual flight group for DCS World. Our fixed wing squadrons fly the Heatblur F14b and the Eagle Dynamics F 18 Hornet. We are a small group of like minded flight sim enthusiasts who like to do ops the British way. We all have a keen interest in the time when the Royal Navy were Catapulting aircraft off the carriers, then crash landing them back on the deck, We have two squadrons. 809 Naval Air Squadron flying the DCS F 18 Hornet, and 892 Naval air Squadron flying the Heatblur F14b Tomcat. If you are interested in joining and haven't already done so please fill in the application on our website, If you require any further information or have any questions about the group please feel free to ask. Our missions and training are mostly Saturdays at 2000hrs UK time, but we have members who fly at all times, We have our own dedicated server running 24/7. We are a brand new group, and are still in the setting up process, We are looking for experienced F18 and F14 pilots and RIO's. Our aim is to have fun. We don't have a training sqn, new members are invited to take a short check flight. So if you want to be part of this exciting new venture please go along to our website and fill in the application.
