[Solved]Cant get rockets to fire

I'm having an issue firing the rockets.

 

I'm on the rockets and guns tutorial mission and after following the setup instructions the rockets will not fire

If I do the ground attack instant action mission they work fine.

If I do the convoy mission they wont fire

So I have to assume I'm missing something during the setup but cant figure out what

I have previously completed the tutorials (at least 1 version ago) so I know it should work.

 

This is what I'm doing in both the tutorial and missions

Rocket release: Auto (I've tried manual with no difference)

Gunsight function selector: Rocket

Depression: 30mil

Jettison ready: Off

Fuse Delay: Instant

Weapon Selector: Camera (I've tried Guns with no difference)

Sight: Uncaged

 

I have 2 mods installed for the F86

The kneeboard text corrector and the red switch cover fix

but as I can launch rockets on instant action I'm thinking they're not to blame

Removing the red switch cover mod fixed it.
