Cputeck Posted July 15, 2021 Posted July 15, 2021 PC specs WIN 10 x64, AMD 3800x, 32GB 3200MHZ, RX580 Problem Hello! I have a unique problem with my Steam version of DCS. I'm not sure if the minimum specs listed on Steam has always been a Vega 56 or above for non vr modes. However, my RX580 has never been an issue running the game within or outside of vr modes. Recently and since the Marianas map and subsequent release V 2.7.3 my game's skybox and clouds are completely broken. The sky-box shows up as solid black and the clouds are black/white with an orange tint. The problem certainly isn't the time of day either as I've tried all types of possible fixes. To date I've tried: Contacting Customer Support Customer Support validating my dcs.log files are without error Updating all drivers Changing every in-game graphics setting Verifying Steam file integrity check A complete reinstall Changing cloud settings in graphics menu It is interesting to note that this originally only occurred once Marianas was available at first. I can confirm it is not just this map but all maps which have the same issue now. As soon as I swapped back to 2.7.2 (non beta) a few days ago without Marianas pre 7/14/21 the sky-box worked perfectly again. Unfortunately with the 4.3GB update on 7/14/21 resulting in V 2.7.3 stable release and the implementation of Marianas into the non beta version; now no version works correctly for me and I am 100 percent unable to experience a functioning game. Customer support has recommended reporting this error repeated times for bug duplication and verification but it is not a traditional .miz issue. The graphics are simply broken. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance for your time! P.S. I've included a short YouTube link to my graphical problem as it's fairly easy to see the graphical quality is not working correctly. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QCP4ypeE9gw

The solution to this graphical problem was simple: Disable Crossfire support in the Radeon application desktop program. Once disabling this feature, the graphical issues immediately corrected themselves. Prior to 2.7.3 having Crossfire enabled albeit not in use never caused this issue. Once 2.7.3 was released the problem became apparent and as such; the aforementioned solution worked.
