Sorry I don't have an update on the P-51D yet, but we are making progress with the American warbirds. This new P40 quadrant is just out and the cool feature about this is the new hydraulic damping tech that has been incorporated so you get a strong sturdy sense of resistance like you're really pushing the throttle lever against some mechanical resistance.

If you're new to this, AuthentiKit is a freeware project and the controls are made from kits, but they're easy to assemble (Airfix style without soldering, cutting, workshop tools) in about 90 mins as this video shows. A little project for the Christmas break? You don't need a 3d printer either - with our quality checked AuthentiKit Community Approved Printer scheme there's simmers-with-printers around the world who'll print for you for a very fair price.

Looks like I've been a bit remiss in keeping this thread updated with P-51 news. Well, how do you guys like the look of our throttle? This was printed by one of the guys in our community.

Another development is that I know a lot of folks are nervous of 3D printing so I'm really pleased that we've finally got a scheme going where community members will print for others at mates rates. We're calling it the Community Approved Printing (CAP) scheme and all the guys doing the printing are experienced AuthentiKit/printing guys. Here's the kind of quality for the pedestal trim wheels for example, this version printed in two colour PLA.

There are two guys in the States now and as an example for the price, they'll currently print everything you need to get going with a fully functional P-51D throttle for $99 + postage. More info here https://authentikit.org/p51-winter24/
