AG-51_Endo Posted September 1, 2021 Share Posted September 1, 2021 I’ve been having an odd VR experience. I have a newer PC with decent specs (i7 10700, GTX3070, 32Gb ram, 1Tb SSD) and a valve index. Was running the VR setting and 144Hz with 150% res - no issues. Then maybe there was an update, had to turn down to 80/90hz, 50% res, followed optimization in NVidia and dcs settings (very similar to iRacing optimization). Then yesterday all of a sudden all is well and I can crank everything back up. I’m just doing the SU25 training missions. Anyone else experiencing this? AG-51_Endo Posted October 29, 2021 Author Share Posted October 29, 2021 So a couple months later….. changed occulus app to run as admin, stops app from running and chews resources apparently. Made a big difference. Set to 120hz, 150% resolution in steam vr, consistent and stable start steam VR before DCS. If I let DCS launch steam VR it always results in frame rate issues.
